  • THE BANFF POWER BAR - nutrition for mountain power

The basic recipe to this product was originally provided by Werni's friend Marcel, one of the best amateur road bikers in the Bow Valley. With a few adjustments to it, this bar is now perfect nutrition for endurance in the mountains, whether on the bike, on a hike or that long lasting game of golf. Organic puffed rice, oats and organic spelt flower combined with nuts, fruits, chocolate and honey result in a not too sweet, pleasant tasting home made power bar - approx. 75g / 2.4 oz.

  • MOUNTAIN CHILE - The Flavors of Mexico in Banff

The first of a series, Werni's 'Six Chile Pepper Sauce' (Salsa de muchos chiles) is an old recipe he has used for many years. As a pre-cooked sauce, it is ready to be served; it can be used cold with appetizers or as a condiment in cooked dishes. The sauce may be diluted with fresh cream or stock without losing its great flavor. Since spiciness is relative, he would call it 'medium hot'. Net weight 370ml / 12oz. Special orders and pricing upon request.
